Description

8/29/23 - This is a very nice example of an AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a 1942-dated hard shell holster and a reproduction magazine. The gun itself has retained about 90-92% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle and around the high edges of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips. The bore has strong rifling with just some very light freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
