Description

9/29/23 - This is a very nice Lithgow SMLE III from 1941. It is all matching with British proofs throughout. There is an "MAO SMLE III* HV 1944" marking on the left side of the butt stock. We assume this to mean it was reworked in 1944. The finish rates about 94% with just general minor high edge wear and some light scuffs here and there. Very nice wood stock that appears to have been lightly sanded. Minty bore. Comes with canvas sling.
