Description

10/10/23 - This is a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in January of 1945. All matching with the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs. This pistol has a couple of unique, late-war "errors". The original factory paint in the 'S' and 'F' on the slide are both in the white. Also, the back side of the frame has a finish error (been ground through). All as it came from the factory though. The bluing rates about 90%. Nearly all of the finish loss is on the front strap. Hints of wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide. Tiny scratches and handling marks along both sides of the slide. Fitted with excellent black bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there are some small pits in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
