Description
4/2/25 - This is a very nice example of a late-war Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in November of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. There is an "asterisk" marking on the left side of the frame, indicating it failed initial inspection and was repaired at the factory - this is a desirable trait for many collectors. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. Almost all of the wear is on the front strap, so the profile views are minty. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips and comes with a proper jvd magazine. Near-mint bore. De-cocker is not functional.
