Description
10/2/23 - This is an excellent Reising M-50 with typical compensator and rear peep sight, and includes six original 25-rd mags. The Reising M-50 was notably issued to Marines in the Pacific Theater during WWII as an alternative to the Thompson sub-machine gun which was in short supply.¬ Although not well received by the Marines, these guns were also supplied to various police departments and utilized for decades after WWII. They have gained in popularity over the years with recreational shooting enthusiasts as a well made, relatively inexpensive entry level machine gun which utilizes readily available ammunition. The bluing on this one rates about 95% with minor high edge wear. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some freckling on the barrel and receiver and some light scratching on the receiver. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking in the grooves. Firing mechanism moves smoothly when operated by hand.¬¬This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4 as Curio & Relic eligible.¬ Mechanics are fine. No doubt this will bring many hours of enjoyment to a future owner.¬Specifications
