Description

10/18/23 - This is a nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. It comes as a rig with a brown leather soft shell holster (embellished with a brass Nazi Eagle pin) and two period-correct "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazines. The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also minor muzzle wear, and a couple of areas of thinning on the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent reddish bakelite grips. The bore has strong rifling with very light pin-pricking in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
