Description

10/20/23 - This is an excellent Waffenfabrik Model 1882 revolver issued to the Swiss military in 1927. All matching with the proper Swiss proofs throughout. There is a "P" marking on the trigger guard, indicating it was later sold in the commercial market. Import mark on the barrel. The gun comes as a rig with a period-correct leather holster (dated 1926) and shoulder strap. The bluing rates about 97% with very minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Very light freckling throughout. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips. Stone-mint bore.
