Description
10/10/23 - This is¬an excellent example of an Italian Army Glisenti pistol. These were very complex pistols with all machined parts and beautiful early 1900s rust blue, that proved to be very expensive to produce. These were used by all branches of the Italian army before, during and after WWI, eventually being replaced by the more durable and cheaper to make Beretta 1934-1935 pistols. Glisenti was chambered in 9mm Glisenti which was an underpowered version of the German 9mm Para cartridge. One should take care not to use 9mm Para in this gun as it can result in irreparable damage and can be dangerous to the shooter. This particular example has retained about 96% of its original finish. Very minor high edge wear in general and some dings on the back strap. Fitted with excellent black bakelite grips and comes with one magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
