Description
10/10/23 - This is a nice example of a WWI-era Erfurt Ortgies. It is matching and has an Imperial military acceptance proof on the tang. There is also an "S.B.914." unit marking on the front strap, which we believe to be a 1920's police unit marking. It comes with a magazine that is numbered and close to matching, but the numbers are out of order. It's possible this was a factory mistake, but we can't say for sure. The bluing rates roughly 90% with the majority of wear around the muzzle. There are also areas of pin-pricking and discoloration at the front left and back left of the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. The bore has good rifling with very minor frosting in the grooves.Specifications
