Description

1/3/24 - This is a nice BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. All matching with the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. Its dusty blue finish rates about 90%. Oddly enough, the right side of the slide seems to have been very lightly milled - there are visible circular marks along the slide, and the military proofs are faint. There is some finish loss in the same area. Fitted with period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with a "Waffen 135" marked magazine. The bore is mostly shiny with strong rifling, but there is light spotty freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
