Description

12/14/23 - This is an original L.C. Smith Field Grade side by side shotgun from 1949. All original with excellent blue on the receiver but general thinning on the sides of the barrels and trigger group. The receiver does show a good amount of the original case-hardening remaining with some nice, bright blue accents. It's a double trigger, hammerless shotgun with 30" barrels. The stock has minor handling wear but no cracks or notable chips. Excellent bores. Butt plate does have a small chip in the top. The gun also comes with a letter from Hunter Arms Co, detailing the history of this particular shotgun.
