Description
12/5/23 - While the Walther Model 4 is not particularly rare, this one is special as it has an Imperial proof (Crown D) on the left side of the slide. This indicates it was accepted into the German military in about 1914-1916 and most likely issued to a German officers. This is a very desirable pistol for the militaria collector. It is all original finish that rates about 90%. The grips are original as is the magazine, and the holster. The spare magazine looks similar but might be to a different model. The holster is pebble grain and inside the flap is maker marked and dated 1917. The holster alone could be worth $400. The bore is very good and would rate a 7 out of 10.Specifications
