This Luger was the subject of one of our videos. (See link below) It shows how this Luger Rig was totally made up from reproduction "Black Widow" grips and magazine bottoms.  Also some of the markings were fabricated when the gun was refinished.  We believe the BYF on the toggle was added as well as the 91 on the sideplate as well as the serial number on the bottom of the barrel.  There may be other stamp that were post factory added. The holster is from WW1 and therefore re-stamped to be 1941 marked and the 655 tool is a post war stamp.  With Black Widow rigs sell in the 6500 range, this is a nice display piece or "shooter" grade gun at less than half the price of an original BYF 41.
