Description

1/16/24 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. It is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs, and fitted with an excellent set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips. Comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun also comes with an obituary for Private Donald L. Carmel. According to the auction house where we acquire this gun, they claim they bought it directly from Donald's family. We can't corroborate this story, and we have no other information tying the gun to Donald. The original finish rates about 94%. Nearly all of the wear is around the stock lug, so the rest of the gun is minty. Mint bore.
