Description

3/5/24 - This is a nice example of Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1917. It is all correct and has a proper "H P" Colt barrel. Comes with a later magazine. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is brown patina and spotty oxidation throughout. An area of noticeable pitting on the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is some frosting in the grooves.
