Description

2/27/24 - This is a nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. All numbered parts are matching except for the hold-open. Un-numbered "Crown N" barrel. It has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. This gun eventually ended up with the VoPo or East German police force, as evidence by its dark "dipped" finish, post-war VoPo plastic grips, and post-war matching-numbered magazine. There is almost no actual finish loss, but there are areas of pin-pricking under the finish throughout. Excellent bore.
