Description

1/15/24 - This is a rare "147 Code" JP Sauer K98 issued to the Luftwaffe in 1939. The entire gun is completely matching except for the upper handguard, which is not numbered. It has the proper military acceptance proofs throughout and a correct "Eagle L" Luftwaffe stamp on the right side of the butt stock. The original finish rates about 94-95% with just general minor high edge wear. Overall, the stock is excellent with below-average signs of wear. However, there is a small gouge just behind the front barrel band. Mint bore. Comes with a period-correct leather sling.
