Description

1/15/24 - This is a very nice Arisaka Type 38 Carbine issued to the Japanese military during WW2. It is all matching but has a defaced Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. The original finish on the metal parts rates about 97% with just a small spot of wear where the mum was ground. Other than that, there are some areas of light spotty oxidation on the barrel, front barrel band, butt plate, and on the floor plate / trigger group. Very nice wood furniture with below-average signs of wear and use. Excellent, shiny bore.
