Description
2/3/24 - This is a minty example of a Springfield M1A, chambered in 7.62 NATO. The Springfield Armory M1A is a civilian version of the M14 rifle designed and manufactured by Springfield Armory, Inc., beginning in 1974. The term "M1A" is a proprietary title for Springfield Armory's M14-pattern rifle. Early M1A rifles were built with surplus G.I. parts until Springfield Armory, Inc. began manufacturing their own. This is a less common National Match example, with NM front and rear sights, a NM trigger, NM medium weigh stainless bbl, and glass bedded receiver. The finish on this rifle shows virtually zero wear but there is one small chip about 1.5mm to the right of the buttplate. It is in like-new condition, and still has its hang tags attached! Mint bore. It comes with a proper box and owners manual, but the box is mismatched to the gun.Specifications
