Description

2/9/24 - This is a gorgeous example of a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish, with hints of wear around the muzzle and some finish loss on the side plate. A couple light dings and some very minor thinning on the front grip strap. Terrific, shiny bore with strong rifling. Fitted with an excellent set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with two original "Black Widow" magazines, an "Eagle 655" marked tool, and an excellent 1939-dated holster. The holster has a name lightly carved into the back leather between the straps.
