Description

3/6/24 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Government Model 1911, manufactured in 1919. According to the included Colt Factory Letter, it was shipped to Simmons Hardware Company on May 7, 1919. It has retained about 94% of its original high polish finish with minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some light scratching and freckling along the left side of the slide. There is also an "EKIRK" marking very lightly scratched into the right side of the slide. Fitted with minty wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. Mint bore.
