Description
3/8/24 - This is a nice example of a First Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver from 1920. Chambered in .38 WCF with a 4.75 inch barrel. According to the included Colt Factory letter, it was delivered to Phelps Dodge Merc Co in Douglas, Arizona on September 11, 1920. The letter is a photocopy of the original. The gun is all matching and has lost most of its original finish. There is spotty oxidation and "attic patina" throughout. Fitted with period-correct black hard rubber grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
