3/21/24 - This is a nice example of a Swedish Husqvarna M40 Rig. The Husqvarna m40 was manufactured 1940 to 1946 and was a Swedish copy of the Finnish Lahti pistol. The first m40s were delivered to the Swedish military by 1942. The grips of the m40 have the Husqvarna "crown H". The m/40 would eventually be taken out of service in the 1980s. This one has a mismatched cocking handle but has the proper "Crown SS" military acceptance stamps and crown proofs throughout. Import marked on the frame. It comes as a complete rig with a proper holster, leather lanyard, three magazines, tool, and cleaning rod. The finish on the gun rates roughly 80%. The majority of the wear is on the grip straps. Mint bore.
