Description

4/9/24 - This is an excellent example of an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. HS marked High Standard barrel. The original finish rates about 97%. There is very little wear, but there are a few small spots of light oxidation and some brown patina under the finish in a few spots. Very light pin-pricking on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an "S" marked mag. The bore has strong rifling with minor pin-pricking in areas, 8/10.
