Description

4/23/24 - This pistol has an interesting history. It was initially issued to the Nazi military in 1937. It has the proper "Eagle 63" military proofs. It was then likely reworked by the East German police after WW2. These are often known as "VoPo" Lugers. The gun is all matching except for the hold-open. There is a double-stamped number in front of the serial number on the upper receiver. At the police arsenal, the gun was refinished and given a set of post war grips. Virtually no finish loss. Comes with a matching-numbered post-war magazine - likely done at the police arsenal. Excellent bore with great rifling.
