Description
3/26/24 - This is a near-mint example of a very rare "Zero Series" Walther P.38, manufactured in 1945. They are called a zero series because the serial numbers start with a zero. Only 1,750 of these were produced according to Whittington's book. This one is all matching and has "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 97-98% of its late-war finish. There are hints of high edge and muzzle wear, one small spot of discoloration on the left side of the slide, and a hint of thinning on the front strap. Casting flaw at the base of the front strap (typical for this variation). Fitted with reddish bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct "Eagle 359" marked jvd magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
