Description

4/12/24 - This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. All matching with a completely intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It comes with an original monopod, dust cover (not matching), bayonet, and scabbard. It also comes with an original capture document that lists a Japanese rifle - no serial number. The gun itself has retained virtually all of its original finish, but there is heavy brown patina covering all of the parts. Very light surface rust around the muzzle. Heavy oxidation and pitting on the butt plate. The wood has no major structural damage, but shows obvious signs of wear and use. Mint bore.
