Description
6/14/24 - This is a nice example of an early Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in 1930. It is mostly matching, but the cocking knob is mismatched. Comes with a period-correct but mismatched magazine. There is very little actual finish loss, but there is noticeable oxidation and minor pitting covering the gun. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pitting throughout. The gun comes from several docs from the US WW2 veteran who captured this gun, Sgt. Otto Hirsch: two Motor Vehicle Operator's Permits and four Honolulu Blood, Plasma Bank donation cards, and some hand-written notes.Specifications
