4/4/24 - This is an excellent example of an Australian Lithgow SMLE Mk III* Rifle, manufactured in 1942. The gun is all matching and has the proper military proofs. Tiny import mark on the right side of the receiver. The stock is also matching and has crisp markings on the right side of the butt stock (dated 1943). The metal parts have retained about 97% of their parkerized finish with just hints of high edge wear. Excellent wood furniture. Stone-mint bore.
