SOLD - Rare American Eagle DWM M1906 Luger Rig - A.F. Stoeger Marked

7/25/24 - This is a minty example of a rare A.F. Stoeger marked DWM Model 1906 Luger. These Luger pistols were manufactured for Stoeger Arms Corporation to be sold in the U.S. Several different barrel lengths were offered in either 9mm or 7.65mm, and the quantity acquired by Stoeger was rather low, making this Luger a scarce variation. This particular pistol is in .30 Luger with 4-inch barrel. This example is marked with the "American Eagle" stamp on the chamber and "DWM" on the toggle. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown BUG" proofs. The right side of the slide is GERMANY export marked. The right side of the slide is also marked A.F. STOEGER INC/NEW YORK. It is in beautiful condition, retaining nearly all of its finish. Fitted with minty wood grips. Very nice bore with good rifling. It comes as a rig with a period-correct commercial tan leather holster and two proper un-marked commercial magazines.
