5/2/24 - This is a Smith and Wesson Model No. 3 revolver from the late 1800's. Chambered in .44 S&W. The top of the barrel reads "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. JULY 10. 60. JAN. 17. 17. FEB. 17. JULY. 11. 65 & AUG. 24. 69". There is no "Russian Model" marking. Overall, it is in fair condition with spotty oxidation and "attic patina" throughout. Fitted with smooth wood grips - a couple of hairline cracks on the bottom edges. The bore has good rifling, but there is spotty surface oxidation throughout. Fully functional.Specifications
