Description

4/26/24 - This is a Walther PPK issued in 1943 to the German military, most likely to an officer. It has the proper WaA359 acceptance stamps on the slide and frame, as well as the correct dull military finish used between 1943-1945. This example has retained about 95% of its finish, with most wear concentrated to one area on the right side of the slide. There is also some finish loss along the high edges and around the muzzle. Bore has strong rifling, but is frosted throughout. Fitted with an excellent set of rare transitional grips, which are a solid brown color and were only used for a short time between PPK grip production shifting from mottled brown to black. Comes with a correct wartime flat bottom magazine. These military issued PPKs are getting very hard to find, which makes this a desirable collector grade PPK.
