Description
7/17/24 - This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger initially issued to the Imperial German Army in 1916. All matching with the proper Imperial proofs. It was used again by the Nazi Army during WW2, as evidenced by the original 1945-dated capture document that lists this gun by serial number. It comes as a rig with a mismatched WW2-era magazine and a 1941-dated hard shell P.38 holster. We did not separate the holster, because it is very possible the gun and holster were captured together. The gun itself has retained about 94-95% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is along the barrel (where there are some small dots of oxidation), but there is also minor muzzle and high edge wear. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. Very nice bore with good rifling.Specifications
