Description

7/17/24 - This is an Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is United States Property marked, has the proper FJA inspection initials, and has a cross-canon military cartouche. Proper HS High Standard barrel. It comes as a rig with a 1942-dated holster, canvas belt, and two magazines (one of the magazines has fairly heavy oxidation). The gun's finish rates roughly 80% with fairly even thinning and some minor discoloration throughout. There are some small areas of noticeable pitting here and there. Light spotty oxidation on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is some minor pitting in the grooves.
