Description

7/1/24 - This is a very nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 85% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also wear around the muzzle and on the front right of the slide. The finish on the frame has a slight plum color to it. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips and comes with an "Eagle 88" proofed Spreewerk magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is some light pin-pricking in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
