Description

7/23/24 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. This one is a scarce variation of the BYF 41 with "Eagle 135" proofs instead of "Eagle 655" proofs. It is all matching and fitted with an excellent set of original "Black Widow" bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with two black widow magazines, an excellent 1941-dated black leather holster, and a "42" marked armorers replacement tool. The original finish rates about 92-93%. There is general high edge wear and wear around the muzzle. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor frosting throughout.
