Description
7/29/24 - This is the rarest of all the Army-issued Mauser HSc's. In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 - Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the Army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This one is all matching and has retained roughly 80-85% of its finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, but there is also wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper magazine. It looks like someone ground the bottom edge of the front strap to open up the magazine well. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
