8/14/24 - This is a Colt Bisley Revolver, manufactured in 1901. It is all matching. The caliber designation on the left side of the barrel has completely worn away, but we believe it is chambered in .41 Colt - the inner diameter of the muzzle measures 0.4". If it is in fact .41 Colt, it would be rare. Only 3,159 out of 44,350 Bisley revolvers were chambered in .41 Colt. Overall, the gun is in fair condition for its age. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is noticeable dark brown "attic patina" covering the metal parts. Fitted with faux antler grips. The bore has pretty good rifling with tiny pitting throughout. Fully functional.
