Description

8/23/24 - This is a very rare first-variation Zero Series Walther P.38. One of only 1,000 produced, it features the hidden extractor and rectangular firing pin. This particular example has all matching numbers, including the original grips. It comes with a correct variation magazine with double E/359 proofs at the bottom of the spine. However, the number on the tube has been defaced. The gun has retained roughly 70% of its original high polish finish. There are areas of obvious splotchy discoloration, spotty oxidation, and somewhat heavy pitting at the back left of the slide and frame, on the front strap, and along the whole right side of the gun. The bore is mostly shiny with good rifling, but there is some light freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is not functioning properly.
