9/10/24 - This is a rare SS-Contract Walther PPK manufactured at the end of the production run of the PPK, in 1944. It would be categorized as a Fifth Variation example according to Tom's "SS Contract Walther PP/PPK" Book. This one is especially rare and desirable because it comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun has retained about 95-96% of its original finish with just minor muzzle wear. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is light spotty oxidation along both sides of the slide. The bluing on the frame and trigger has a nice plum tint to it. Fitted with post-war black plastic grips. Minty bore.
