Description

9/24/24 - This is a first-variation Sauer Model 1919, chambered in 6.35mm or .25 ACP. It is all matching and "Crown N" proofed. The left side of the slide is marked "R.F.V. 109". The RFV was the Third Reich department in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters - much like our own IRS and border police. The gun has retained about 97% of its bluing with just minor muzzle wear and some small dots of surface oxidation here and there. Fitted with black bakelite grips and comes with a magazine that is numbered "121 II" on the bottom - not matching to the gun. The bore has good rifling, but there is light spotty surface oxidation throughout.
