10/31/24 - This is a minty example of a Colt Commando Revolver issued to the US military in 1942-43. It is matching and with a small flaming bomb military proof on the left side of the frame. There is an "R&H 8" marking on the butt of the frame - we're not sure of the meaning. There is also a "USA" marking on the underside of the frame. The original parkerized finish rates about 97-98% with very minor muzzle and high edge wear and some very light surface scuffs here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Mint bore. It comes as a rig with an excellent US-marked 1943-dated Craighead Denver holster, a canvas belt, and canvas ammo pouch.
