Description

10/10/24 - This is a very nice Colt 1911A1 from early 1943. The slide is numbered and matching, it has the proper military proofs, and has a correct Colt barrel with a large "G" under the lug. It has retained about 90% of its original parkerized finish. There is general high edge wear wear, a few spots of wear on the left side of the gun, and some tiny dots of wear along the top of the slide. Fitted with period-correct plastic grips and comes with a post-war magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is some minor fouling and pin-pricking in the grooves.
