10/29/24 - This is a scarce Navy 1934 Mauser. ¬It is a variation 4 Navy 1934, meaning that it has the closed wing eagle on the right side of the frame, but no property mark on the front strap. ¬There were only an estimated 6,000 of this variation procured, in the serial range 544390-627788. It comes as a rig with two proper "Mauser" marked magazines and a very nice Navy-style holster (there appears to be a faint swastika and M stamp on the back. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its original high polish finish with minor high edge and muzzle wear (most noticeable on the left side) and a small area of wear on the front strap. Excellent wood grip. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
