Description

11/21/24 - This is an excellent example of a Winchester M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1942. It has all correct Winchester-marked parts, except for the handguard which is un-marked. According to some of the sources in our research, this can be correct. Nice cross-cannon cartouche and WRA inspection stamp on the right side of the butt stock. The original finish on the metal parts rates about 96-97% with just minor high edge wear and some wear on the barrel band. The wood is very nice, but the stock has been lightly sanded. The corners around the butt plate have been rounded, so the butt plate does not fit perfectly. Comes with one magazine, sling, and oiler. Mint bore.
