Description
11/22/24 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PPK from 1941. All matching and "Eagle N" proofed. This gun would fall in the correct serial range for a small miscellaneous SS contract in 1941. This particular serial range is referred to as a "Variation 4: Miscellaneous Order" on page 74 of Tom's "SS Contract Walther PP/PPK" book. There are four guns in this contract that have been officially documented to members of the SS. However, without a matching-numbered magazine or supporting documentation, we cannot say for sure if this one was part of this SS contract. In any case, it has retained about 93% of its original high polish finish with high edge wear along both sides of the slide, mostly around the muzzle. It is fitted with a particularly beautiful and unique marbled chocolate brown bakelite grip with really nice splashes of red color. Comes with a proper wartime magazine (un-numbered). Excellent bore with great rifling.Specifications
