Description
12/10/24 - This is a minty example of a post-WW2 FN Browning Hi Power. It is all matching and unit marked "LGKT 1066" on the front strap. That stands for "LandesGendarmerieKommando Tirol" (Rural Police Command, Tirol). Tirol is a Federal State in western Austria. It also comes with two matching unit-numbered LGKT marked magazines. It also comes with a period-correct box that is hand-numbered to the gun, a matching-numbered hang tag, and a matching-numbered label on the packaging. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original high polish finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some pin-pricking on the grip straps. Fitted with nice checkered wood grips. Mint bore. Tiny, barely-visible import mark on the butt of the frame.Specifications
