Description

12/12/24 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. All correct with a proper Colt barrel (small "F" under the lug). The gun's original parkerized finish rates about 94% with some minor thinning on the front strap and what looks like a "splash" of discoloration on the left side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips (there is a tiny bit of wiggle in the right panel) and comes with an "L" marked magazine. The bore has great rifling with very minor frosting in the grooves.
