Description
12/10/24 - This is an excellent example of a very early Type I Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine from 1942. This one has a five-digit serial number in the proper range, one of the earliest correct examples we've ever seen. It is completely correct and original - the barrel, stock, handguard, and even down to all of the small parts. The metal parts have retained about 96% of their original finish with just very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Very nice, original wood furniture with just an honest bruise on the left side where the metal butt plate hits it when folded. Nice cross-canon cartouche on the bottom of the grip. Original leather cheek pad in great shape. The bore is stone mint. Comes with a magazine that shows some oxidation. This item is for sale on Consignment.
