Description

1/6/24 - From the collection of Jan Still, well-known author of collector resource books such as "Axis Pistols", "Third Reich Lugers", and more. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the Sill family. This is a very nice example of a Beretta Model 1934 issued to the Italian military in 1939. All matching with the proper Italian military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. The slide has a noticeable plum color to it. Generally, the wear is concentrated mostly around the high edges with some minor wear on the grip straps as well. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
